Service Technician Our client is a global manufacturing company whose UK site is based in Surrey and their head office in Germany. They are looking for a Service Technician who has an electro-mechanical degree / qualification and experience of working in the pharma or manufacturing / packaging industry. Training on the products will be at their main site in Germany. It is working 40 hours per week, based as Monday to Friday 8 hours per day, with over time and overnight allowance. Bank holidays (when required) are 1.5 with a day in lieu. Our client also offers a company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, medical insurance and a company car / car allowance. Duties: * Preparation, installation, startup, production support, maintenance, and repair of our machines * Support the assembly of equipment and acceptance testing (usually onsite at the customer) * Train customers on the equipment as and when required * Identify potential equipment improvements * Provide telephone support to our customers * Work closely and communicate effectively with the Customer Service Department in UK and Germany * Expected travel time for up to (Apply online only) days per year (mainly weekdays) * Travel generally in the UK and Ireland, but maybe also throughout the world.
