Electro-Mechanical Assembler

You will be responsible for building and testing a range of complex assemblies, working from engineering drawings and established manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from engineering drawings and work instructions
Build sub-assemblies and full systems with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Interpret BOMs and ensure all components are fitted to required tolerances
Carry out basic fault finding and support root cause analysis of build issues
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality throughout the assembly process
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in build efficiency and output
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and understanding of tolerances
Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, calipers)
Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability
Knowledge of general machining processes (manual or CNC desirable)
Familiarity with MRP systems and production documentation advantageous
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Understanding of health & safety and workshop best practices
Ideally 5+ years' experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment

Working Hours & Benefits

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
Friday: 07:00 - 12:00 (early finish)
Option to start at 06:00 and finish earlier
