Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly of high‑quality aerospace products. The role involves the precision assembly of electro‑mechanical components, including PCB soldering and mechanical build activities, in line with aerospace standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electro‑mechanical assembly of components and sub‑assemblies for aerospace products Carry out conventional through‑hole PCB soldering to a high standard Undertake a small amount of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering Complete mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, fixtures, and assembly drawings Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and traceability requirements typical of aerospace environments Identify and report any assembly issues, defects, or process improvements Maintain a clean and organised work area
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience in electro‑mechanical assembly within a regulated or high‑reliability environment (aerospace preferred) Strong soldering skills, including: Conventional through‑hole PCB assembly Basic SMT soldering Mechanical assembly experience, including precision fitting and fastening Good manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to work methodically and follow detailed instructions
