ELECTRO-MECHANICAL FITTER NEEDED IN SMETHWICK, WEST MIDLANDS!! We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join a leading Automotive business based in Smethwick, West Midlands, this role will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) and the role comes with a competitive salary that can be discussed at the application stage. This is a hands-on, varied role where the successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and testing a wide range of mechanical and electronic diesel fuel injection systems – from the latest common rail technology to vintage inline pumps from the 1960s. No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone with a passion for quality, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a good amount of experience with diesel fuel injection technologies, and a knowledge of Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Continental or Stanadyne systems.
