Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract , with the potential for a permanent position. This role is integral to the manufacture of high-quality products for the meteorological and commercial weather measurement markets. Contract Type : 6-month fixed term (potential for temp-to-perm) Working Hours : Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am - 3:45 pm; Friday, 7:00 am - 11:30 am Starting Salary : £24,800 (increasing to £25,100 upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period) Responsibilities As an Assembly Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the production of high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include: Assembling products using hand tools and assembly jigs. Conducting testing to specified parameters and recording results on works orders/lot cards. Identifying and recording non-conforming products. Performing quality inspections on your own work. Maintaining bench stock items and inspecting bench tools and manufacturing aids.
