Job Description
Role: Electronics PCB assembler
Location: Exeter
Salary: £ competitive depending on skills

This role will be with a leading UK company who need a PCB electronics assembler to help churn out boards.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong diagnostic skills, technical expertise in PCB rework, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
Skilled in the use of hand soldering tools
Experience with rework and repair of PCBs
Daily job:
Diagnose and fault-find to component level on electronic assemblies
Rework PCBs with through-hole and surface mount components using hot air rework tools and soldering irons
Program and test PCBs using diagnostic software and test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Read and interpret schematic drawings and technical documentation
Support the Manager in overseeing quality metrics and driving continuous improvement projects
Manage customer non-conformances, conduct internal audits, and contribute to wider quality initiatives
Key skills:
Proven ability in PCB rework and component-level fault finding
Surface mount assembler skills
Box Build and final display experience
Computer literacy and familiarity with diagnostic/test software
Experience with industry-standard test equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems (advantageous)
Any RF experience is also desired
