Job Description
Electronic Test & Service Technician
Location: Hunmanby, North Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Job type: Full-time, permanent
The Role
Electronic Test & Service Technician required to carry out bench-based testing, fault-finding, servicing, calibration, and repair of electronic products within a controlled workshop environment.
This is a specialist role. Full product training will be provided, so candidates with strong transferable electronic experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Test, fault-find, service, repair, and calibrate electronic products
Carry out bench testing and functional checks to written procedures
Solder and rework electronic components as required
Complete service records and job documentation accurately
Identify faults and repair requirements during testing
Maintain quality standards and attention to detail
About You
Background in electronic test, repair, service / fault finding
Confident fault-finding on electronic circuits or PCBs
Comfortable soldering, including basic rework (training available if needed)
Able to follow technical procedures and work methodically
Electronic qualifications desirable but not essential
