Job Role: Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Great Yarmouth (Office-based)

Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Bonus

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Position 1 Recruitment is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer for our innovative client based in Great Yarmouth.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop electronic and embedded SONAR systems

* Create schematics and multi-layer PCB designs

* Test, troubleshoot, and carry out root cause analysis

* Conduct design reviews and support continuous improvement

* Produce technical documentation (BoMs, Gerbers, test procedures)

* Support product integration, validation, and acoustic testing

* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

* Provide technical support to global customers (occasional travel required)

Requirements

* Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic/Electrical Engineering

* 3+ years’ experience in electronics and embedded systems design

* Experience with mixed-signal design, FPGA/SoC, and power systems

* High-voltage or marine/SONAR experience
