Electronics Design Engineer Power & Analog (Defence Systems)Our client, a long-standing partner to the UK Ministry of Defence, is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to take ownership of power and analog electronic design across complex, safety-critical defence systems.This role sits at the heart of missile and firing unit development, working from concept through detailed design, verification and production support.What youll be doingDesign analog and power electronic circuits at sub-system and PCB level for missile-borne and land/sea/air-based systemsOwn the electronics design lifecycle: requirements ? schematic design ? review ? integration ? support to manufactureWork on technically challenging, high-reliability products with demanding performance, EMC and environmental constraintsAct as a technical authority within a multidisciplinary engineering team (software, firmware, mechanical, EMC, environmental)Provide realistic cost and schedule input to support project deliverySupport design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across released designsWhat were looking forStrong background in electronics design with a focus on power and/or analog circuitryExperience taking designs from concept into production within regulated or safety-critical environmentsComfortable owning complex electronic designs and mentoring or technically guiding othersSolid problem-solving skills and the ability to work across engineering disciplinesDegree in Electronics or a closely related subject (or equivalent industry experience)Experience in defence, aerospace, automotive, rail or similar high-integrity sectors is advantageous.What happens now?Upon submission of your application, should it meet our selection criteria, you will be contacted via e-mail by one of our talent acquisition specialists to arrange a screening call.
