Contract Electronics Hardware Design Engineer\nLocation: Leicestershire\nContract Type: Contract\nPay: £35–£45 per hour (DOE) (Outside IR-35)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a hands-on Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to support the development of PCB-based electronic products. The role involves working across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to design, testing, and manufacture. You will be part of a small engineering team, contributing directly to the delivery of practical, real-world hardware solutions.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n• Design analogue and digital circuits for new and existing products\n• Produce schematic capture and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools\n• Take designs from concept through to testing and production\n• Carry out debugging, fault finding, and board-level troubleshooting\n• Support prototype development and manufacturing activities\n• Work collaboratively within a small team to deliver projects efficiently\n• Operate with a high level of autonomy and technical ownership\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n• Strong experience in electronics hardware design and PCB development\n• Proven ability to design circuits and boards from first principles\n• Experience with analogue and digital electronics\n• Familiarity with tools such as Altium or equivalent PCB design software\n• Hands-on approach to testing, debugging, and problem solving\n• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative engineering environment\n\nSubmit your latest CV for submission
