Salary : £26.05 per hour – non-accredited (to include preparation and marking)
£30.38 per hour – accredited (to include preparation and marking)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive hourly paid General Employability Tutor to deliver high‑quality, engaging sessions to adult learners across our Adult Skills departments.
In this role, you will deliver interactive and motivating employability‑focused lessons that help learners develop the essential skills, behaviours, and confidence needed for progression into work or further learning. This includes supporting adults with areas such as communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, digital skills, professional behaviours, job‑search skills, CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace expectations.
You should be confident in adapting your teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, providing practical guidance, encouragement, and a positive learning environment. Assessing learner progress, offering constructive feedback, and helping individuals set achievable goals will be key parts of the role. You will also promote strong professional standards, motivation, and a positive attitude toward lifelong learning.
