About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Employment Solicitor to join a leading London law firm. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of employment matters, acting for clients across multiple sectors. You will provide clear, commercial advice and support senior fee earners while also managing your own client relationships and files.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary and grievance matters, dismissals, redundancies, TUPE, restrictive covenants, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct employment tribunal claims and advisory work.
• Draft contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and other employment-related documentation.
• Maintain excellent client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic guidance.
• Support business development initiatives as required.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ PQE in employment law.
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Proven ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong drafting, advisory, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build credibility with clients and colleagues alike.
• Experience working in London law firms or in-house employment teams preferred.
