Employment Associate (1+ PQE)

£85,000 (1 year PQE) upwards

We’re looking for a talented Employment Associate to join a market-leading employment team at a law firm that is genuinely a fantastic place to work.

This role offers a rare opportunity to focus on high-value employment litigation and arbitration, acting for an impressive client base that includes household-name brands, leading multinationals, and high-growth businesses.

The team is consistently ranked among the best in the UK and is known for handling complex, strategic, and often fast-moving disputes at the cutting edge of employment law.

What you’ll be doing

• Advising on high-value breach of contract and wrongful dismissal claims
• Acting in disputes involving restrictive covenants, team moves, and confidential information
• Obtaining, resisting, and enforcing injunctions
• Drafting and advising on complex employment contracts and LLP arrangements
• Supporting transactional matters and cross-border / global mobility issues
• Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver commercial, strategic advice
• Getting involved in business development and profile-raising initiatives

About you

• 1+ years’ PQE + with experience in employment litigation (High Court and/or arbitration)
• Strong drafting and analytical skills, with a commercial mindset
• Comfortable handling complex matters and taking ownership of your work
• Ambitious, proactive, and keen to develop your practice
• Interest in business development and client relationships
• Experience with financial services conduct or regulatory issues is a plus (not essential)
