The Role
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality advice on the full range of employment law matters, including:
Contentious and non-contentious employment issues
Employment Tribunal litigation
Advisory work on dismissals, discrimination, whistleblowing, and TUPE
Senior exits, settlement agreements, and workplace investigations
Manage and develop client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser
Generate new business and contribute to the firms growth strategy
Supervise, mentor, and support junior lawyers (as applicable)
Contribute to marketing, thought leadership, and profile-raising activities
Play an active role in firm management and decision-making
Candidate Requirements
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
Significant post-qualification experience in employment law (typically 8+ PQE, but flexible depending on experience)
Experience operating at partner level or as a senior associate ready for partnership
Strong technical expertise across employment law
Proven ability to manage matters independently
Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
Business development experience or a demonstrable interest in developing a practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
Existing client following
Experience advising either employers, senior individuals, or both
