Managing your own caseload of employment litigation matters autonomously Advising on both claimant and respondent Employment Tribunal matters Supporting the wider team on complex and high-value employment disputes Assisting with non-contentious employment law matters where required Working with local, national, and international clients across a broad range of industries Delivering strategic and commercially focused employment advice Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Employment team Supporting client relationships through proactive and professional engagement

Key Responsibilities

Handling Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution Advising clients on a wide range of contentious employment matters Supporting employer clients with ongoing HR and advisory services Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements Managing deadlines and compliance with tribunal procedures Building and maintaining strong client relationships Promoting the team and firm both internally and externally Contributing to departmental targets and continued business growth

About You The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and ready to make an impact. You will have:

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ employment law experience Strong background in employment litigation Experience handling both claimant and respondent matters (preferred) Excellent IT skills High levels of initiative with the ability to manage your own workload effectively Strong time management and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills A desire to promote the team and firm internally and externally Ambition to develop your technical and commercial expertise A proactive attitude toward career progression and professional development
