Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (5+ years' PQE) to advise both employer and employee clients across a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.This role would suit a confident, commercially minded solicitor who enjoys working closely with clients to deliver practical, strategic advice and wants to play an active role in the growth of a well-regarded Employment practice.The Role You'll manage a varied and engaging caseload while supporting the continued development of the Employment team. Typical work will include:Advising on contracts of employment, staff handbooks, and HR policiesSupporting employers with disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and TUPE mattersManaging Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to representationProviding strategic advice on employment status, settlement agreements, and restrictive covenantsDrafting and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements, and related documentationContributing to business development through networking and client relationship managementAbout You5+ years' PQE specialising in Employment LawProven experience advising both employer and employee clientsComfortable managing your own caseload and working independentlyExperience working with SMEs and owner-managed businessesExposure to partnership, director, or senior executive disputesStrong technical knowledge with a pragmatic, commercial approachWilling and confident to contribute to business development activitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking ArrangementsPrimarily based in the Bury St Edmunds officeHybrid working available depending on desk availability and team requirementsSome weeks fully office-based; other weeks up to 1-2 days working from homeFull-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmOccasional travel between offices requiredOwn car essentialThe firm is committed to equal opportunity and inclusive recruitment, considering all applications fairly based on merit, qualifications, and experience.If you're an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for your next step within a progressive and supportive firm, apply today or contact Natalie Dwan at LJ Recruitment for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
