An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join my clients Employment Team on a remote basis.

My client is looking for an experienced candidate with 4+ years PQE who has experience of working in the employment sector.

You will have a track record of providing excellent standards of client care and the desire to exceed clients’ expectations. Although training will be provided, we are looking for someone with excellent technical experience, preferably gained at a leading firm.

Following a thorough onboarding process, the successful candidate will have their own caseload involving advising on and pursuing employment and industrial relations issues in the tribunals and courts for trade union and professional association members, as well as private individual clients.

Your caseload will cover a variety of business sectors across a range of industries including rail/transport, manufacturing, education, health, public sector, sport and the music industry, and you will be dealing with clients at all levels of seniority.

Requirements:

• Successful applicants should be 4 years PQE upwards working in the employment sector. • You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident dealing with people at all levels of seniority internally and externally. • Excellent communication skills • Excellent client care skills • Although training will be provided, we are looking for someone with excellent technical experience, preferably gained at a leading firm. • Although the role will predominantly be remote, there will be a requirement to travel to an office in Leeds 1-2 times per month.
