About the Role:

The firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its expanding team based in York.

The Employment Solicitor will manage a varied caseload spanning the full range of Employment Law matters. They will provide clear, practical and commercially minded advice to a diverse client base, working both independently and collaboratively within a friendly, high-performing team.

Key areas of work will include:

• Redundancy processes and restructuring
• Drafting and advising on contracts of employment, policies and staff handbooks
• Employment Tribunal matters
• Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
• Settlement agreements and negotiations
• Disciplinary, grievance and performance-related issues
• Organisational reorganisations and strategic employment support
• TUPE and business transfers
