Are you a highly technical, data savvy Engineering Manager with advanced leadership skills?
You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a growing technology company as they expand their UK presence.
As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the strategic direction, creation and delivery of the Data Platform Delivery Roadmap. You'll define the engineering metrics and outcomes, collaborate with the Principal Data Engineer to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure and complaint and that architectural requirements are communicated effectively for teams to make progress within an Agile framework.
Taking ownership of the data platform you will build and maintain a strong operating model for day-to-day management and production support, providing line management to Squad Leads and recruiting and coaching data engineers to grow the team.
Location / WFH:
You'll be able to work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office once or twice a week.
About you:
You have extensive experience in engineering leadership roles, including people management, Agile planning and delivery
You have a Data Engineering background and strong technical understanding of modern data platforms using Python, AWS, Snowflake
