We’re Hiring: Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager to lead the installation, commissioning, and ongoing performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, equipment reliability, and compliance across a growing and dynamic business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the installation and commissioning of new production equipment and supporting infrastructure
• Manage the maintenance and reliability of plant, machinery, and site services
• Develop and implement a robust Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy
• Oversee contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with RAMS, permits, and H&S standards
• Drive systems for calibration, inspection, and equipment compliance
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and product integrity (e.g. detection systems)
• Take ownership of site security systems aligned with wider business strategy
• Ensure all statutory inspections are completed and actions closed out
• Act as the primary escalation point for production-related emergencies
• Lead or support continuous improvement and special projects

What we’re looking for:

• ~4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Experience managing multi-skilled engineers and external contractors
• Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
• Proven ability in maintenance planning, budgeting, and risk management
• Familiarity with high-volume / high-speed manufacturing (injection moulding desirable)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
