Job Title: Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Bingley
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

A well-established FMCG manufacturing business based near Bingley is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor to support the Engineering Manager and lead day-to-day engineering activities on site.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for a strong people manager with a solid background in FMCG maintenance environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the daily workload of six engineers and external contractors
*
Plan, schedule and monitor PPMs and reactive maintenance
*
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to standard
*
Support continuous improvement of maintenance systems and reliability
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety and engineering standards
*
Act as first point of escalation for engineering issues during core hours
*
Report performance, issues and progress directly to the Engineering Manager
Key Requirements:

Proven experience in an engineering supervisory or lead role within FMCG
*
Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance systems
*
Experience using CMMS software
*
Confident managing engineers and contractors
*
Strong health & safety awareness
*
Good organisational and communication skills
This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Senior Engineer looking for their next step in an FMCG environment
