A growing food manufacturing site in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint an Engineering and Facilities Manager to take ownership of site reliability, asset care and facilities performance. This is a senior role with accountability for engineering delivery, compliance and continuous improvement across the operation.

The role

\n
Take full responsibility for the performance and reliability of all production equipment and site infrastructure.
\n
Plan and drive maintenance activity to improve uptime, reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
\n
Deliver capital projects and equipment upgrades from concept through to commissioning.
\n
Lead contractor activity on site and ensure all external works are completed safely and to standard.
\n
Own the engineering and facilities budget and ensure spend is controlled and justified.
\n
Implement robust systems for compliance, inspections and statutory maintenance.
\n
Build and develop a high performing engineering and facilities team.
\n
Identify opportunities to improve energy usage, site efficiency and overall operating costs.
\n
Work closely with operations and senior management to support production targets.
\n

About you
\n
\n
Engineering qualification or strong hands on engineering background.
\n
Experience leading engineering and facilities functions within manufacturing.
\n
Food or FMCG experience would be advantageous but not essential.
\n
Strong understanding of UK health and safety, compliance and site services.
\n
Confident managing people, projects and external suppliers.
\n
