Job Title: Engineering Geologist\n Location: London - Remote\n Salary: £32,000 - £38,000\n\nAn exciting opportunity has opened for an Engineering Geologist in London. This role offers the chance to work for a specialist ground investigation consultancy and contractor with a strong presence in and around London. Flexible working is offered, allowing you to work remotely when not required on site.\n\nAs the Engineering Geologist, you will be involved in a variety of projects, ranging from former gasworks investigations to geotechnical assessments on wind farms.

You will gain hands-on experience in soil sampling, phase 1 and phase 2 reports, risk assessments, geotechnical site investigations, and slope stability assessments.\n\nThe successful Engineering Geologist will work alongside experienced Senior Engineering Geologists, receiving tailored training, and will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide Graduates during site work. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth and development in ground investigation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSoil sampling and geotechnical site investigations\nPreparing Phase 1 factual reports and Phase 2 interpretative reports\nConducting risk assessments and slope stability evaluations\nSupporting and mentoring junior staff and Graduates\nCollaborating with senior team members on a wide range of projectsEssential Criteria:\n\nDegree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or Geoscience\nResident in London or surrounding areas\nFull UK driving licence\nFull working rights in the UK\nPhase 1 factual report writing experience\nMinimum 1 year of experience in ground investigation or a relevant fieldBenefits:\n\nClear progression path\nInternal training opportunities\nBonus scheme\nPaid overtime\nCompetitive salary
