This is a hybrid position, with onsite presence typically required 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday).The Role This is a strategic leadership position working across multiple engineering disciplines. You will provide direction, governance, and decision-making support while helping to build and develop a high-performing engineering team.Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership across a multi-disciplinary engineering function
Support the development and growth of the engineering team
Drive effective decision-making and technical governance across programmes
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on engineering priorities and delivery
Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and standards
Mentor and develop engineers at varying levels of experience
Requirements
Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or senior leadership role
Strong background working across multiple engineering disciplines
Experience working within defence environments or SC-cleared programmes (or eligibility to obtain SC clearance)
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to influence decision-making
