Responsibilities

  1. Lead the Non-Conformance Authority (NCA) engineering team, overseeing dispositioning of non-conformance issues including concessions, deviations, and technical assessments.
  2. Ensure product and personnel safety.
  3. Drive non-conformance resolution milestones, focusing on high-priority targets and backlog reduction.
  4. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance non-conformance processes.
  5. Manage workload off-loading to service providers, improving output effectiveness.
  6. Act as the primary technical interface for NCAs and DARs with customers and programs.
  7. Present metrics and performance reports to leadership teams.
  8. Ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  9. Manage resources and budgets, participating in planning and prioritization.
  10. Develop team competencies and support professional growth and succession planning.
  11. Coordinate team resources effectively.
