Description

The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Head of Operations and will form a crucial part of the site Management team. As part of wider business growth ambition, this role will be tasked with change leadership across the entire engineering function. Day to day responsibilities will include:

Manage, lead and mentor a team of c10 engineers
Identify and develop the site reliability agenda
Continously review and improve processes to ensure maximum machine availability
Development of engineering team covering training, development and identification of skill gaps
Collaborate with other department heads to align engineering strategies with business objectives
Manage and control departmental expenditure and labour spend within agreed budgetsProfile

The successful Engineering Manager will possess a range of the following:

Solid experience of leading an Engineering department within an FMCG business
Proven ability to develop, implement and maintain robust PPM systems
Demonstrable experience of improving downtime and site capacities
Experience of maximising efficiencies across aging equipment
A change agent with the ability to align, engage and motivate team members and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to support workforce developmentJob Offer

A competitive salary range of £70k- £80k plus company benefits
