Reduce downtime by driving effective maintenance and quick, coordinated breakdown response. Optimise plant performance and support production teams to hit site targets. Lead, coach and develop a talented engineering team. Oversee planned maintenance schedules and continuously improve engineering standards. Manage budgets, spares, and supplier relationships. Lead site projects and work closely with contractors and cross-functional teams. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, quality standards, and audit requirements. Represent the business with utility providers and external bodies. Contribute as a key member of the site senior management team. What We're Looking For Strong engineering leadership experience (ideally food manufacturing/FMCG). Excellent communicator with proven team management and development skills. Confident in decision making, problem solving and driving improvements. Knowledge of SOPs, HACCP, Health & Safety, and quality systems. Competent with Microsoft Office and understanding of site assets and their impact. Ability to lead by example and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualifications. HACCP Level 4 & Food Safety Level 4. ILM Level 5 (or equivalent leadership training).
