SRG are currently recruiting an Engineering Manager for a successful and growing client based in London. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a senior engineer or supervisor looking to step into a role with real influence over plant reliability, safety performance and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians Plan and prioritise maintenance activities to minimise downtime and improve asset availability Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures Manage planned maintenance schedules, shutdowns and contractor activity Own and manage the permit-to-work system Develop, coach, and upskill engineering team members Lead fault finding and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent repeat failures Drive continuous improvement across maintenance and reliability Communicate performance and site issues via shift reports and handovers Support budget control and cost management within engineering.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or engineering environment Strong CMMS experience Exposure to budgets and P&L responsibility Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
