Technical M&E Project Manager - On‑Site, Full‑Time
We're looking for technically strong M&E Project Managers to lead investigation, remediation and close‑out of legacy issues across complex facilities. This is not a traditional construction PM role - it's hands‑on, technical, and focused on resolving system failures, validating documentation and ensuring building services operate as they should.
You'll act as the central point of coordination between operations teams, the client and specialist subcontractors, taking full ownership of identifying issues, driving corrective actions and ensuring systems are correctly commissioned and documented.
Key Responsibilities: * Conduct structured investigations into M&E systems (fire alarms, electrical infrastructure, compressors, freezers, water/air systems) * Review commissioning data, test results, O&M documents and drawings; identify gaps and required actions * Lead root‑cause analysis and produce clear technical findings and recommendations * Arrange testing, recommissioning and specialist remedial works * Coordinate between client teams, operations and contractors * Manage scopes, risks, CDM/SHEQ compliance and weekly progress reporting * Ensure accurate handover information, asset data and system documentation * Proactively identify additional issues and drive them through to resolution
What you'll bring:
PM experience in M&E, FM or Building Services
⚙️ Strong technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, BMS and life‑safety systems
Background in commissioning, technical investigations or engineering close‑out
Confident stakeholder and contractor management
Highly self‑managed, proactive and detail‑driven
CDM knowledge essential; technical qualifications
Basic DBS
Full on‑site presence required, Monday-Friday
If you're a technically capable PM who enjoys problem‑solving, digging into system failures and driving issues to completion, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.
Blue Arrow is proud to be a Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people
