Job Title: Engineering Stores Controller (Asset Care)
Salary: £38,000
Location: North Walsham
Shift: MondayFriday Days

Take Ownership of Engineering Stores in a Reliability-Focused Manufacturing Environment

Were looking for a disciplined, process-driven Engineering Stores Controller to take full ownership of our engineering inventory and CMMS governance.

This is not a basic store's role. Youll directly support planned maintenance, control critical spares, manage engineering spend, and protect our target of 98% equipment availability.

If you thrive on structure, stock accuracy and supporting high-performing maintenance teams, this role offers real accountability and visibility.

What Youll Be Responsible For: Engineering Stores person

  • Full day-to-day control of Engineering Stores
  • Maintaining CMMS (Limble) accuracy assets, spares, BOMs
  • Managing stock integrity, cycle counts and critical spares
  • Liaising with Planning to ensure PM parts availability
  • Raising purchase orders and controlling engineering spend
  • Driving 5S / workplace organisation standards
  • Supporting HSHEQ and BRC audit compliance

What Were Looking For: Storeman

  • Proven experience in Engineering / Maintenance Stores
  • Strong hands-on CMMS experience
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering-led environments
  • Experience managing inventory accuracy
  • Organised, detail-focused and process-driven
  • GCSE Maths & English essential

Desirable: Level 3 stock control qualification, 5S experience, exposure to budget control.
