Job Description
Engineering Supervisor\n\nLocation: Commercial Building, Wandsworth\nHours: Monday to Friday\nSalary: Up to £58,000 per annum\nType: Full-time, Permanent\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to manage engineering operations at a well-maintained commercial building in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 4 multi-skilled engineers, ensuring the site is operated safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.\n\nThis is a hands-on supervisory role, combining leadership with strong technical expertise in building services.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Supervise, manage, and support a team of 4 multi-skilled engineers\n\n * Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance across the site\n\n * Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to health & safety regulations\n\n * Act as the main technical and operational point of contact on site\n\n * Liaise with clients, contractors, and facilities management teams\n\n * Monitor performance, manage workloads, and support engineer development\n\n * Maintain site documentation, reports, and maintenance records\n\n * Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience as an Engineering Supervisor or Senior Engineer within commercial building services\n\n * Strong technical background (electrical or mechanical bias )\n\n * Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)\n\n * Experience managing or leading engineering teams\n\n * Good knowledge of commercial M&E systems\n\n * Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills\n\n * Professional, proactive, and client-focused attitude\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Salary up to £58,000, depending on experience\n\n * Monday to Friday working pattern\n\n * Stable role based at a single commercial site\n\n * Opportunities for training and career progression\n\n * Supportive management structure and professional working environment
