About the job
The Multi-Site Engineering Co-Ordinator will lead and develop our engineering spares and contractor controls through building synergies between sites to reduce stock holdings and contractor costs.
This will assist the business strategy in increasing equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
This is a pivotal role within our business, offering the opportunity to shape long-term engineering strategy and contribute to our broader business goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
Actively promote a safe working environment by
Monitoring contractors when on site to ensure full compliance with site rules
Actively challenge and report unsafe behaviours
Monitor contractors when on site to ensure full compliance with site rules
Statutory Requirements
Work with insurance companies to plan on time inspections
Liaise with Insurance inspectors and site departments to provide a site attendance plan to ensure equipment is available for inspection dates.
Ensure all equipment is calibrated in a timely manner and available for use.
Log all Statutory work on CMMS - Agility
Control engineering documentation for waste handling
Purchasing
Monitor and provide reports as required covering Engineering parts, labour and Contractor spend.
Continually challenge costs and requirements of all orders
Ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner to match installation requirements to reduce the impact on production..
Contractors
Ensure all Contractor companies that attend site have completed our “Contractor Packs” prior to arriving on site.
Ensure all contractors are Inducted prior to work commencing
Pass to relevant person to control the actual task
Immediate requests for support, Arrange site attendance of relevant contractors to minimise downtime
Work with suppliers to ensure emergency parts are delivered to our requirements
Machine servicing Liaise with production to arrange suitable date for equipment servicing requirements
Create a Plan to communicate when units will be required for servicing.
Ensure all service parts are available for planned visits.

Stock Control
Build stock synergies between the manufacturing sites to reduce stock holdings
Order spares as required challenging costs.
Ensure consumable spares are maintained to the correct levels to minimise downtime.
Critical spares maintained at the correct levels
Operate a critical spares location sheet and tracker and update as required
Track parts that are sent off for repairs. Communicating progress.
Holidays - 26 days + Stats
Pension - Contributory
Bonus - 5%, paid annually based on business performance
Work Schedule - 38 hrs - Mon to Friday, Mon to Thursday 8 am to 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am to 2 pm, may have to flex as the business requires
Multi-Site 2 based within a 20 minute radius
