Engineering Team Leader - Day Shift (Food Manufacturing) commutable from Rothwell, Kettering, Northampton, Market Harborough, and Wellingborough Salary £58,000 I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join their site in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, hands-on leader with strong experience in food or FMCG environments, who can drive performance, develop teams, and ensure high standards in a fast-paced production setting. The Role ·Lead, manage, and develop the Engineering Team to deliver high performance. ·Take ownership of day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring minimal downtime. ·Conduct 1:1s, appraisals, and structured development plans for your team. ·Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and food safety compliance. ·Oversee the Engineering Workshop, contractors, and Health & Safety standards. ·Carry out and support reactive and preventative maintenance (mechanical & electrical). ·Fault finding on PLCs, alongside installations, repairs, and project work. ·Support training initiatives and upskill the team. ·Manage spare parts, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement activities. ·Deliver against KPIs across Quality, Cost, Delivery, Health & Safety, and Hygiene.
