The Role Permanent Full Time Knowlton and Newman, part of the Rubix Group, provide 24/7 engineering services. We repair, overhaul, install, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic equipment and cover a wide range of industrial equipment for customers across multiple sectors. The Team Leader Technician is an experienced and multi-skilled engineer, responsible not only for carrying out technical work to the highest standards, but also for providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to technicians within the workshop or on site. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services while acting as the senior technical authority for assigned jobs. Key Responsibilities Core Technical Duties Install, commission, test, maintain, and repair mechanical and/or electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Complete job documentation accurately and on time. Operate machinery, tools, and test equipment safely and effectively. Liaise with customers, colleagues, and management to provide updates and technical support.
