Join a large global manufacturer recently certified as a Top Employer 2026, where your passion for precision and innovation helps reinvent the future of health.\n\nThe Rewards\n\nTotal Compensation: £52,000 per annum (Base of £38,000 + 37% shift allowance).\n\nShift Pattern: Dedicated night shift (11pm - 11am) on a rotating "3 days on / 3 days off" schedule.\n\nCulture: A permanent, onsite role within an inclusive, growth-centered environment focused on professional development.\n\nYour Impact\n\nAs a vital member of our clients moulding production team, you will act as the primary problem solver for complex engineering challenges.
Your day-to-day will involve:\n\nTechnical Leadership: Diagnosing complex machine issues and implementing robust engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Identifying equipment enhancements to boost productivity, safety, and quality standards.\n\nOperational Excellence: Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is set to validated standards and maintaining accurate maintenance logs via SAP.\n\nMentorship: Coaching and guiding technical associates to promote high-quality workmanship and effective knowledge transfer.\n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\n\nWe are looking for a dedicated technician with a strong engineering aptitude and a supportive attitude.\n\nEducation/Experience: A Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) OR proven experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.\n\nTechnical Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electrical systems, or servo technologies is highly desirable.\n\nIT Literacy: Proficiency in IT, specifically using SAP for maintenance logging and data-driven fault diagnosis.\n\nSoft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the patience required to mentor less experienced team members.\n\nOur client is actively reviewing CVs at the moment so don't delay your application! \n\nRandstad Business Support is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
