Job Title: English & Drama Teacher (Cover) Location: Hillingdon, London, UK Salary: £120–£200 per day Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary Start Date: 13 April 2026 Key Stages: KS3, KS4, KS5 Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable English & Drama Teacher to join the school as a cover teacher from April. This role requires a confident practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons across both subjects, maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of permanent staff.
You will play a key role in inspiring students through both academic and creative approaches, using performance and literature to engage learners of all abilities. This position offers the potential to develop into a longer-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality English and Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Maintain continuity of learning and uphold high classroom standards

• Adapt quickly to different classes, topics, and student needs
• Work collaboratively with departmental staff to ensure consistency
Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Proven experience teaching both English and Drama at secondary level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of abilities
• A proactive, adaptable, and resilient approach
• Right to work in the UK
