An outstanding secondary school in Islington is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their high-achieving team from September 2026 for the full academic year through to July 2027. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated English Graduate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about education and keen to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive and dynamic school environment in Islington . The Role: As a English Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will work Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:15pm, supporting students across all year groups. The role includes: Providing in-class support to students who require additional help with English Delivering targeted interventions as a English Graduate Teaching Assistant to small groups from Year 7 through to Year 11 Supporting sixth form students with more advanced English skills Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons Helping to raise attainment and confidence in English across the school in Islington About You: A degree in English or a related subject A strong academic background and a passion for education An interest in pursuing a career in teaching Excellent ...
