This is a long-term, full-time role (5 days a week) for a committed teacher who is passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for literature, language, and learning. Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students * Planning, preparing, and marking work in line with the National Curriculum * Creating an engaging, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment * Managing student behaviour effectively, promoting positive attitudes toward learning * Collaborating with staff to support students' academic and personal development * Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings The Ideal Candidate: * A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) * Strong knowledge of the English curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 * Passionate about teaching and dedicated to improving students' outcomes * Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills * Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to a positive school culture * Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable, but not essential
