English Teacher required

An Ofsted rated “Good” Secondary School is seeking a dedicated part-time (3 days per week) English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis!

The Role

This role is 3 days a week, every Monday, Thursday, and Friday. You will be responsible for covering English lessons across years 7 – 10, along with 3 lessons of the week dedicated to specialist support for students struggling with anxiety that may require additional support.

Delivers engaging, challenging and inspiring English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English Language and Literature Creates a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment Is committed to raising achievement and supporting every learner Contributes to curriculum development, enrichment, and wider school life Works collaboratively with colleagues as part of a supportive and ambitious English department
