The Role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable)
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum
Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Has experience teaching English within a secondary setting
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Is passionate about literacy, reading and student achievement
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
