They are now seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role. About the Role The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will play an important role in developing students' literacy, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about English and keen to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking department. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate). Inspire and motivate students, supporting both their academic progress and personal development. Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and improvement. Support and participate in extracurricular activities, such as reading clubs, drama productions, or creative writing initiatives. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment. What We Are Looking For A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Right to work in the UK. Experience teaching English at GCSE level (A-Level experience is desirable but not essential). A genuine passion for English and the ability to engage and inspire students.
