Academics Ltd are supporting a welcoming secondary school in Swindon who are looking to appoint an English Teacher for September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established department where high-quality teaching and student engagement are genuinely valued.
The school is seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and inspire students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of English language and literature across KS3 and KS4.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across KS3-KS4
  • Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff across the faculty
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Uphold strong safeguarding practices at all times
Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
  • Confidence teaching across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A positive, professional and team-oriented approach
