The Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Durham to recruit a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You'll play a key role in developing students' literacy, analytical thinking, and love for literature, helping them build essential skills for academic success and beyond.

Your Role Will Include:

Delivering high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teaching a range of topics including literature, language, and creative writing Planning engaging and differentiated lessons to meet diverse learner needs Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies Contributing to the wider school community where required
