Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking for a new opportunity within a supportive and stable maternity cover role?
Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Staffordshire Moorlands area, seeking an English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover from the Easter term through to the end of the summer term.
The Role:- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Engage and motivate students of mixed ability
- Mark and assess in line with school policy
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English (or equivalent)
- Has recent experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4
- Is confident, organised, and passionate about English
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Is reliable and committed for the full duration of the placement
- Competitive daily pay: £170-£230, paid to you weekly (DOE)
