The role
Permanent English Teacher role This English Teacher will deliver challenging, well-structured lessons, use assessment data to drive pupil progress and contribute to curriculum refinement. The successful English Teacher will foster analytical thinking, academic writing and a love of literature while maintaining consistently high expectations. Wider contribution to enrichment, including debating, reading programmes or theatre visits, is welcomed.
Applicants for this English Teacher role must: Hold UK QTS or be completing a UK-recognised teacher training programme Have a strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or higher from a reputable university (Russell Group desirable) Demonstrate substantial UK classroom experience with evidence of measurable progress Show confidence operating within established behaviour frameworks Be legally entitled to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Outer London MPS: £37,870£50,474 (UPS up to £56,154).
