Simply Education is recruiting for a thriving secondary school in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop a love of literature and language while achieving strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Plan, assess, and monitor student progress in line with school and national standards.

Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.

Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with colleagues.

Candidate Profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.

Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
