The Role - English Teacher

A well-established secondary school in the London Borough of Enfield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for a 1 year fixed maternity contract starting ASAP. The role will involve teaching English Language and Literature across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, planning engaging schemes of work, assessing student progress, and supporting pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire a love of reading and writing across all key stages.

The successful English Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong understanding of the current English curriculum. Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level classes is highly desirable.
