Tradewind Recruitment are seeking two passionate and dedicated English Teachers to join a thriving secondary academy in Manchester from 20 April 2026 on a long-term supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Key Stage 4 English, including GCSE, in a supportive and inclusive learning community. The school has a Good Ofsted rating and prides itself on fostering positive behaviour, respect and strong relationships across the whole school.

The Role Full-time English Teacher - long-term supply from 20/4/26 Deliver high-quality English lessons with a focus on GCSE English Language and Literature Plan, adapt and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that support student progress Confident behaviour management and use of effective assessment strategies Work collaboratively with the English department to support curriculum delivery Applicants must have experience teaching English at GCSE level in UK secondary schools
