Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Functional Skills English Tutor to deliver high‑quality English teaching to learners at HMP Stocken .
In this rewarding role, you will work with small groups of prison‑based learners to develop their literacy skills, communication abilities and confidence. You will support learners in working towards recognised qualifications that contribute to their long‑term goals, employability and progression.
You will design structured lessons, deliver interactive sessions, and guide learners through their development journey. Your teaching will play a vital role in rehabilitation, personal confidence building and helping individuals reach their full potential.
