Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect from a consulting background to play a critical role in delivering large, multi-year transformation programmes. This role will be a key member of the core programme team, responsible for defining the enterprise architecture vision, shaping a cloud-first technology stack, and owning data migration and integration streams.

You will act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, bridging business strategy and technology execution, while working closely with engineering, delivery, and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise & Solution Architecture

• Define scalable, future-proof enterprise architecture aligned to business strategy.
• Own target-state architecture, roadmaps, and transition states across complex ecosystems.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.

Engineering & Delivery Leadership

• Bring a strong engineering mindset, with the ability to go deep where needed.
• Partner closely with delivery and development teams to ensure architectural integrity.
• Balance strategic design with pragmatic, hands-on decision-making.

Cloud, Data & Integration

• Lead the design of cloud-first architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Own data migration, integration, and modernisation streams, ensuring reliable data flows across platforms.
• Define integration patterns using APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and modern integration platforms.

Omnichannel & Platform Transformation

• Architect and support large-scale omnichannel retail, commerce, or customer platforms.
• Enable seamless customer experiences across digital, in-store, and enterprise systems.
• Support modernisation across CRM, ERP, POS, eCommerce, Loyalty, and Data platforms.

C-Level Advisory & Stakeholder Leadership

• Act as a trusted technology advisor to C-suite and senior business leaders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes and value cases.
• Support programme steering, executive reporting, and key architectural decisions.

Skills & Experience Required

• 12+ years’ experience in enterprise or solution architecture, ideally within a consulting or digital transformation environment.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale business and technology transformation programmes.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, enterprise integration, and data architecture.
• Hands-on engineering background with the ability to engage deeply with technical teams.
• Experience designing and delivering omnichannel, customer-centric, or retail/commerce platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including C-level engagement.
• Ability to operate in complex, ambiguous environments and drive clarity.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and architecture modelling skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail, consumer, fashion, hospitality, or similar industries.
• Exposure to modern data platforms, analytics, or AI-driven solutions.
• Experience working across global, multi-vendor delivery models.
